“Where to begin? I have worked with Berkeley Decor for over 15 years, and every single project has been a huge success. Cindy has been so helpful in picking out the right fabric for whatever project I've wanted to do. Everything from a chaise lounge from the 20's to modern day furniture including desk chairs, a full kitchen chair set, living room chairs, a bench and a vanity stool. Most recently her staff redid my formal dining room set. Everything has been done perfectly. Her upholstery staff is top drawer. Not a stitch out of place, the piping perfect. When her husband delivered my dining room set-it literally took my breath away. Thank you again. By the way, I have always kept the material that was not used on the project just in case there is a tear or something along the way. I found a piece recently, and as Mike was leaving after the delivery, asked him if he would take a bottom cushion from an old rocking chair I had in my office. The small scrap of material was left over from the vanity stool they had done about 10 years ago. Mike looked at me like I was a little bit crazy. I said just use some cotton backing on the bottom. I was sure there was not enough material to do the whole thing. I also said I did not need the buttons or ties. What came back to me was a masterpiece-all the tufting, buttons, ties, piping-everything, and somehow that small piece of upholstery did the whole job. This old cushion which was on its way out, is now beautiful. I swear her staff have magic hands. I cannot recommend Cindy, Mike and their team more. “Berkeley Decor made me a headboard some 15 yrs ago. This year I decided to redecorate my bedroom. I had them re-upholster that same headboard. When it was delivered we noticed a few of the gold studs were misaligned. They took it back immediately with no hassel and fixed the problem within hours. “Beautiful, meticulous work. Berkeley Decor has done 2 projects for me: window coverings in 2009 & upholstery work in Dec 2018. They recovered a treasured custom made family sofa from 1967, and it looks like a $10k sofa from a designer showroom. The original down was replaced & foam added to the seat cushions, they are amazing. They also recovered my family's favorite chairs, 2 slim line recliners from La Z Boy. The graphic Ikat style pattern is perfectly matched on both chairs when side by side, with new cushions & padding. They look brand new. Cyndi is very easy to work with & supportive during fabric choice meltdowns. The price is very reasonable & Although they have a huge selection of fabric, they will work with your fabrics also. “Erika was simply outstanding to work with! I had a very expensive leather sofa that needed the seat cushions and seat backs foam and batting replaced. Neither the seats or seat backs were removable so all the work was accomplished by going through the bottom of the couch. The work came out better than new! At the same time I had 6 original seat cushions from a 1920's Duncan Phyfe style chair set reupholstered with new foam and a beautiful fabric that Erika helped me find amongst the very numerous fabric choices they have. Again the work was superior to the original. The pickup and delivery teams (Arturo, Peter and Eric) were always on-time, courteous and professional, using and nice enclosed delivery van with the couch and seat cushions wrapped for protection. “Berkeley Decor did an excellent job for me! I needed new drapes for large east-facing windows in my family room. I consulted with Mike, and he helped me achieve exactly the look I wanted. We get very bright sun through those windows in the morning, and he suggested adding shades in addition to drapes in order to provide better solar protection without having to constantly open and close the drapes, which was a great idea. We ended up with decorative drapes and functional shades. The wait time for custom drapes and shades was shorter than I expected, the price was right, and the installation crew was courteous and efficient.
